Vegetiva is part of the cycle of 64 Dakinis. She is the green portal, embodying the vegetative fecundity of the green energy in nature, supporting all that grows. That which sprouts forth from the seed to become the grass, the leaf, the vine, the tree.
Haemoglobin and chlorophyll are so connected, blood and sap so very similar in constitution. The veins and arteries of this piece are filled with the green energy of the heart that unites us with life on earth.
Vegetiva is shown in the squatting position, as she is constantly giving birth to herself in all the things that grow upon the earth. She exists in the roots as much as the branches, and in every green cell and spore.
