Snake Goddess

One of the Dakinis from the 64 Dakini Oracle, Snake Goddess presents a being who is half woman and half snake. We see the six armed goddess in her shrine. Snakes have a bad reputation and are often feared and despised by humans. This makes them very sad as they have so much wisdom and healing to offer.

In ancient snake temples, the snakes were originally worshipped as beings of light. There were rituals of initiation in the darkness with only the luminous snake beings to guide the aspirant.
