I gave this piece this title as it reminds me of the depictions in art of Leda and the Swan. In this classic subject from Greek mythology, Leda is ravished by the God Zeus in the form of a swan. Here I have made the encounter with a jellyfish instead. Her body shape is also reminiscent of Klimt's Kiss. I have always been fascinated by reflected light and water and those translucent elegant beings who inhabit this realm.
