One of the cycle of 64 Dakinis, Kali Ma sits in the center of her yantra, visual diagram of her energy form, in the Great Cremation Ground. I took the yantra from a painting I did of Kali and the eyes of Kali behind from another of my Kali paintings. I modeled for Kali in full black body make up, wearing a bone skull necklace and a crown I designed based on images in Indian art. The head Kali is holding is a latex model head, but just about everyone sees someone they know in it. I used effects on the photos of Kali to each side and put images of the cosmos in her chest.
