Part of the Ecstatic Portals series, I took photographs of temples, gilded them and reconfigured them to create new fantasy architecture. There were many stages creating the various elements of the composition and blending them all together. I integrated the yoga postures by placing them as living friezes on the temple facade, then used effects to bring them into all aspects of the interior. This is an image of an inner courtyard of the Temple of the Golden Yogini.
