Aphroditia

This image is from the 64 Dakini series. I had a vision of Aphrodite where She told me that She saw herself being reborn at the turn of the millennium with new frequencies. She was transforming her vibration as the Goddess of Love. Instead of being seen as the Goddess who could bind devotees to Her by the powers of allurement, She was now being reborn from the foam to release those who love Her to unconditional love.

As Aphrodite is associated with Venus, the morning and evening star, I wanted to capture the luminous qualities of first or last light. Etheric Greek columns are adorned with classic Grecian silhoutettes and serve as Pleiadian portals for Aphrodite's reemergence.

The scene is shown as a vignette, viewed through a foamy portal. Aphroditia forms out of the bubbles in the spray, Her body gleaming like a pearl. She offers the gifts of Venus from Her open shell. The glyph within Her body is to emphasise Aphroditia's healing effect on women's internal organs.

She is renamed Aphroditia because She represents a realm of Divine Feminine energy as a mode of being.
