Pictures tell a thousand words. As you can see, I was
'spoilt' by father's side of the family. My grandmother
on my mother's side ('Granny Pen' - my name sake) was
a bit more of a challenge as she had 'eyes in the back
of her head' and would always catch me up to mischief.

When
I went into hospital with a mystery illness at the age
of nine, they pulled my parents aside and told them
that they should have another child as I was rather
frail, and also very spoilt and precocious. So when
my brother, Peter, was born about a year later, as could
be imagined, I was not very pleased to see him. Surprisingly
enough, he doesn't seem to hate women. was not
very pleased to see him. Surprisingly enough, he doesn't
