I considered the creation of the illustrations for 'Sexual Secrets' an act of love. I also felt I was involved in a magical ritual in which I was absorbing the energy and style of the original works I 'transcribed' or 'translated'. I went through a process where I would trace the outline of the image three times - 1st as an overlay to trace the original, then transferring it to my drawing paper, then redrawing it for the new rendition and adding my shading and nuance.
