Penny & Azul
1998 Penny and Azul as MCs at the 'Goddess Temple Summer
Solstice'. I consider Azul to be my 'Channeling Guru'.
It was my experience of his spontaneous creation of rhyming
verse that inspired me to open up those channels in myself.
His multi-layered, cosmic humor can always bring joy to
my heart and soul. |
1998-98,
Azul entertains the ladies at the Goddess Temple with
his New Years Eve performance. It was a chance for the
men to be 'on stage' and express themselves. In Azul's
offering, he came on in a suit of armor he'd made for
the occasion, representing the old patriarchy of the
armored male. His armor is then torn off by 'the Goddess'
and he surrenders and opens his heart. |

Azul and Penny share an inscrutable moment at Halloween.
- Azul
is a poet, painter, philosopher, champion of the Goddess,
and practitioner of Wu Wei Wu Tantra. He lives in
San Francisco.
- Azul and I have done a number of interviews together
on videotape, talking about Tantra, Art, Love, Death
and the Goddess…
