The issue of Tantra magazine dedicated to Kali was the perfect excuse for me to create the series of paintings of the Goddess that I had been longing to do.Painting this picture was a particularly powerful experience as I saw the Goddess 'come in' to the painting and dance very early on - when the image was only roughly painted in. Continuing the painting to its completion was a most intimate experience, requiring deep respect for the Goddess energy already within the work."
