'Bificated Tube' - Drawing in pencil on paper of a carved bone anthropomorphic shaped sniffing tube.

Drawings from period 1984-93. Many versions of the 'Cohoba Snuff Tables' showed up in our research on the Arawak Indians. 'Cohoba' was a hallucinogenic snuff made from a certain kind of bean, mixed with lime, which the Arawaks sniffed through y-shaped tubes to connect them with the spirit world. I created a series of detailed drawings of Arawak art and artifacts for a book Nik intended to write.
